The Princess and the Frog

Interview with Anika Noni Rose (The Princess and the Frog)

Walt Disney Animation Studios' The Princess and the Frog tells the story of a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. It stars Broadway and movie actress Anika Noni Rose as the voice of Tiana. It's been a whirlwind year for Ms. Rose, which included a recent appearance at the Academy Awards® (for which the movie was nominated in two categories—Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song—twice!) Now she's busy promoting The Princess and the Frog for its exciting Blu-ray and DVD release.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with the talented actress in New York about her amazing year, what it was like to feel like a real princess at the Oscars® and how thrilled she is about the film being released on Blu-ray and DVD (available in stores beginning March 16).
