Barry Pepper - True Grit Interview

Barry Pepper has a lot to be thankful for. The Canadian-born actor was over the moon when he got the opportunity to read for the Coen Brothers' latest movie, True Grit. Pepper plays Lucky Ned Pepper, a badass fugitive—a role that was made famous in the original 1969 film by Robert Duvall.

Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer spoke with Barry in Los Angeles about having the opportunity to be a part of this movie, working side by side with the likes of Matt Damon and Jeff Bridges and his impressions of newcomer Hailee Steinfeld, a 14-year-old actress who holds her own opposite this impressive cast.
