The Help

Bryce Dallas Howard - The Help Interview

Bryce Dallas Howard relished the opportunity to play "Hilly" in The Help from the minute she was sent the script. Based on the best-selling novel of the same name, The Help is set in Mississippi during the 1960s and follows a southern girl (Emma Stone) who interviews the black women in her community who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families.

Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with the talented Bryce in Los Angeles about what being in this film has meant to her, playing such an evil character and how much hairspray it took to keep her hair in place throughout the shoot.
