Diane Lane (Secretariat) Interview

When Diane Lane was asked to star as Penny Chenery in Secretariat, she jumped at the chance because it was such an inspiring family story. And being such a fan of horses she couldn't resist being a part of this remarkable true story about a horse, Secretariat, and his journey towards winning the 1973 Triple Crown—a feat that had never before been achieved.

Tribute's Toni-Marie Ippolito recently spoke with Diane at the Santa Anita Race Track in Pasadena, California about having the real-life Penny film a scene beside her, working with the horses and what it was like wearing her '70s wardrobe.
