Elizabeth Banks - The Next Three Days Interview

Known for her comedic roles, Elizabeth takes a dramatic turn in the new thriller, The Next Three Days. Banks plays Lara Brennan, a wife and mother accused of a brutal murder. Is she guilty or innocent? Her husband, played by Oscar winner Russell Crowe, will stop at nothing to prove her innocence and eventually hatches a scheme to break her out.

Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer spoke with Elizabeth via satellite from New York about playing such a troubled character, shooting in an actual prison, working with Canadian director Paul Haggis and how much fun she is having opposite Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin on the hit sitcom “30 Rock.”
