Up-and-coming young actor Elle Fanning takes the lead in the much anticipated summer flick, Super 8. Directed by J.J. Abrams (Star Trek, TV's "Lost") and produced by Steven Spielberg, Super 8 has been shrouded in secrecy. Here's what we do know about the plot. In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth—something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Elle about keeping the plot secret, working with an all-male cast and who she thought was the biggest troublemaker and how honoured she is about recently winning the Young Hollywood Actress of the Year Award.
