Green Zone

Interview with Jason Isaacs (Green Zone)

Matt Damon reunites with his Bourne director Paul Greengrass for the new action thriller Green Zone. Set in Baghdad, Damon portrays Roy Miller, a warrant officer who helps a senior CIA officer in the search for weapons of mass destruction. Miller is based on real-life Army chief warrant officer Richard (Monty) Gonzales, whose Mobile Exploitation Team was charged with finding WMDs during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. British actor Jason Isaacs, a longtime friend of Greengrass, stars in Green Zone as an American soldier who executes government orders that may not be in the best interest of his country.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer caught up with Isaacs in New York to find out what it is about Paul Greengrass' directing style that everyone loves and whether it was difficult being mean to his co-star Matt Damon, even if it was just for his role. He also mentioned how sad he is about wrapping up the Harry Potter series, in which he plays the evil Lucius Malfoy!
