Shooting a film like Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away—and in 3D—isn’t like being on any average movie set. Tribute.ca had the chance to learn firsthand what it took when we sat down with executive producers Jacques Méthé and Ed Jones in Las Vegas. They had the chance to work with Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron, who supplied not only his cinematographic expertise, but also his extensive 3D camera system to create a Cirque du Soleil experience unlike any other.
