Joan Cusack and Mindy Sterling - Mars Needs Moms Interview

Mars Needs Moms is a new animated comedy about a nine-year -old boy who regrets having a spat with his mom after she is abducted by Martians. Joan Cusack is the voice of Mom and veteran comic actress Mindy Sterling voices the role of the Martian Supervisor who masterminds the abduction. The film was shot entirely with motion capture, so the actors had their work cut out for them before they were actually animated.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Joan and Mindy in Los Angeles about parenting, the joys of motion capture and their reactions to seeing themselves in animated form.
