Joe Carnahan Interview

Joe Carnahan wanted to face his fears, so he decided to write and direct the intense thriller The Grey. Set in Alaska but shot in Northern British Columbia, the film centers on an oil drilling team who struggle to survive after a plane crash strands them in the wild. Hunting the humans are a pack of wolves who see them as intruders. It stars Liam Neeson, Dermot Mulroney and Dallas Roberts.

Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with Joe about facing his fears, the hidden meanings behind the title, and while known for his dark dramas and action films, if he'll ever tackle a romantic comedy.
