Joel Silver – Unknown Interview

Uber producer Joel Silver is busier than ever. His latest film is the thriller Unknown starring Liam Neeson as a man who awakens from a coma only to discover that someone has stolen his identity and that no one, not even his wife (January Jones), believes him. Joel, who reads dozens of scripts a day, was taken by the twists and turns in this mysterious thriller. He re-teams with director Jaume Collet-Serra, with whom he also collaborated on House of Wax and Orphan.

Tribute spoke with Joel in Los Angeles about what it is about a script that catches his eye, how hands-on he is on a production, why he works so well with Jaume and his thoughts on re-making classic films.
