The Sorcerer's Apprentice

Interview with Jon Turteltaub (The Sorcerer's Apprentice)

Director Jon Turteltaub (National Treasure) was up for the daunting challenge of taking a section of Disney's beloved animated classic Fantasia and transforming it into the effects-laden The Sorcerer's Apprentice. The film, starring Canada's own Jay Baruchel and Nicolas Cage, works mainly because of the amazing chemistry the stars share on and off screen.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Jon about his casting choices and the amazing number of special effects he used in the film.
