Chloe

Interview with Julianne Moore (Chloe)

Julianne Moore has taken on some pretty challenging roles in her career, but nothing left her as mentally exhausted as when she worked on the psychologically-charged drama Chloe. Directed by Canada’s own Atom Egoyan, the film stars Amanda Seyfried in the title role as a young woman who knows exactly how to use her sexuality. When Catherine (Julianne Moore), a successful doctor, begins to question her husband David's (Liam Neeson) fidelity, she sets out to resolve her suspicions with Chloe’s help. Soon caught in a web of sexual desire, Catherine finds herself on a journey that places her family in great danger.

Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer spoke with Moore during the Toronto International Film Festival about taking on such a draining role, working with up-and-comer Seyfried and why she admires Egoyan so much.
