Legion

Interview with Dennis Quaid (Legion)

Dennis Quaid has been making movies for more than 30 years but his character in the new action thriller Legion is unlike anyone he has played before.

In the film, Quaid plays Bob Hanson, a man who has pretty well given up everything, including his marriage, to run a remote roadside diner in the desert. He gets more than he bargains for when one day a group of passersby get trapped in the diner along with an archangel who is trying to save the world from total destruction.

Quaid was immediately attracted to the role mainly due to the fact that he had never played a guy like this. He also wanted to do a movie with a strong ensemble cast, which includes Paul Bettany, Charles S. Dutton and Tyrese Gibson.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Quaid (who, by the way, left his cell phone on during the interview) in Los Angeles about working on this action packed film.
