Interview with Paul Bettany (Legion)

It's not that often that British actor Paul Bettany gets offered the lead role in an action thriller, so when the script for Legion came along, he immediately jumped on board.

In the film, Bettany plays Michael, a gun-toting archangel who defies God and flies down to earth to help save humanity at a roadside diner.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Bettany in Los Angeles about getting into tip top shape for the role and getting paid to do so, and then making the transition from playing a hero to playing Charles Darwin in his next film, Creation.
