Remember Me

Interview with Pierce Brosnan (The Ghost Writer)

Pierce Brosnan has a busy year ahead. With a handful of films being released over the next few months and more to come on his shooting schedule, Brosnan is not complaining at all. His most recent film is The Ghost Writer, directed by Roman Polanski. Based on the best-selling novel by Robert Harris, the film centers around a ghostwriter (Ewan McGregor) who is hired to complete the memoirs of Adam Lang (Brosnan), a former British Prime Minister. Through his research, the ghostwriter begins to uncover secrets that put his life in jeopardy.

Brosnan was thrilled to be able to be a part of this movie and was incredibly flattered and excited when Polanski called him for the role. Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer spoke with Brosnan about his interpretation of the British Prime minister he plays, working with Roman Polanski, and also about his soon-to-be released film Remember Me, in which he plays the father of Robert Pattinson’s (Twilight) character, Tyler.
