Robert Zemeckis Interview

Robert Zemeckis is the director behind hit movies such as Back to the Future, Forrest Gump (for which he won an Academy Award and Golden Globe) and Cast Away. His new movie, Flight, stars Denzel Washington as a pilot who manages to land an aircraft that’s going down, saving almost everyone on board. However, when his blood test comes back positive for alcohol and cocaine, it raises questions.

Tribute.ca spoke with Zemeckis in Toronto about why he chose this project to direct, the secret behind some of the special effects and why he wanted to become a director.
