Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole 3D

Sam Neill (Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole) Interview

Veteran actor Sam Neill was absolutely thrilled when he first heard his voice coming out of the animated owl he plays in Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole. Neill lends his voice to the owl Allomere, a warrior owl that isn't exactly the nicest bird in his pack. The 3D animated adventure is based on the best-selling children’s novels and follows Soren, a young barn owl who is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie's, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga'Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie's.

Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke exclusively with Sam about his voice over adventures and who he considers his heroes.
