Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Michael Cera and Edgar Wright Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) Interview

After making such successful films as Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, director Edgar Wright was looking for something edgy and fun for his next project. He discovered the graphic novel "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" and was hooked. The story revolves around Scott Pilgrim, a pretty average guy who falls in love with the quirky, multi-colored wig-wearing Ramona Flowers. The catch is, to win her love, he must defeat her seven evil exes, who are coming to kill him!

Brampton's own Michael Cera won the title role of Scott Pilgrim and trained hard to fit the bill. He does NOT disappoint; he can kick butt with the best of them! Tribute's Bonnie Laufer spoke with Michael and Edgar about the long but extremely fun shoot, the amazing casting choices and how far they'd actually go to win the love of someone they can't live without.
