The Ghost Writer

Interview with Olivia Williams (The Ghost Writer)

The Ghost Writer is a new psychological thriller from director Roman Polanski. Based on the best-selling novel by Robert Harris, the film centers around a ghostwriter (Ewan McGregor) who is hired to complete the memoirs of Adam Lang (Pierce Brosnan), a former British Prime Minister. Through his research, the ghostwriter begins to uncover secrets that put his life in jeopardy. British actress Olivia Williams plays Ruth Lang, the Prime Minister's mysterious and beautiful wife.

Williams immediately jumped on board the project as soon as she knew Roman Polanski would be her director. Tribute’s Bonnie Laufer spoke with the charming Williams in New York about working with the legendary (and controversial) director, having two great looking co-stars and her thoughts on her An Education co-star Carey Mulligan being nominated for an Oscar®.
