s always, we begin with Hollywood romance. It looks like Angelina Jolie has reunited with her ex-husband… and we're not talking about Billy Bob. Angelina was married to actor Jonny Lee Miller for four years in the '90s… and rumor has it that they are back together. Also reuniting recently were 65-year-old Jack Nicholson and his 32-year-old on-again-off-again girlfriend, Lara Flynn Boyle.

Meanwhile, Leonardo DiCaprio says he isn't quite the chick hound that he used to be. He says he's ready to settle down after splitting with model Gisele Bundchen, but she'd need to be the type who won't get upset when he decides to leave town with his buddies and party. Good luck, Leo.

Also on the romance front, Oscar-winner Jennifer Connelly and actor Paul Bettany (the two met on the set of A Beautiful Mind), tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in Scotland over the holidays.

Seems the gorgeous Heath Ledger and actress Naomi Watts are also headed for the altar. He's 23, she's 34… She says she's totally smitten with Heath and wants to start a family
immediately.

In other news, American Pie starlet Tara Reid is now dating JC Chasez from *NSync. And James Bond star Pierce Brosnan is apparently not pleased that his 18-year-old son Sean is dating a woman twice his age. Pierce told Sean to dump her. He didn't. We'll keep you posted.

Singer Alicia Keys is looking to make her screen debut in a Disney drama. Alicia turned down a starring role in a remake of
Star Is Born
with Will Smith because she says she wants to
start with smaller parts.

Will Smith is also ready to team up with Gosford Park's Ryan Phillippe to star in White Boy Shuffle, which is being described as a "hip-hop Catcher In The Rye."

Demi Moore has attracted a lot of press since she re-entered the spotlight… mostly because of how good she looks since turning 40. A couple of tabloid reports say that she spent as much as $400,000 on breast implant reduction, liposuction and teeth whitening to get that natural look.

Britney Spears hasn't given up on her dream of making more movies. Next up is a Sherlock Holmes-type of drama where she must rescue the President's kidnapped son. Then she'll star as the daughter of a NASCAR racing boss.

It's hard to imagine Russell Crowe starring in Gladiator 2, considering his character died in Gladiator. One producer says that in the world of Hollywood movies, "dead" is a relative term. However, producers are trying to find a way to fit Russell into the sequel, and apparently he's interested. There's no word as to whether Ridley Scott will return to direct.

Denzel Washington  Denzel Washington should be perfect in a remake of the Frank Sinatra thriller, The Manchurian Candidate, one of the better (and more disturbing) films of the early '60s. Not only that, but we hear that Denzel will also team up with Halle Berry in an update of the Michael Caine film, Educating Rita.

We've all heard the stories about those pictures or statues that weep real tears or drip real blood. One of those stories is coming to the small screen. Salma Hayek will make her directorial debut with the Showtime movie The Maldonado Miracle about a statue of Jesus that begins to shed tears of blood. The movie will co-star Peter Fonda and Ruben Blades.

Jim Carrey  Jim Carrey's name is popping up on a whole bunch of new projects. The first is Children of the Dust Bowl based on the story of a California teacher who was not allowed to teach immigrant children in 1939 until he built his own school in the desert. Meanwhile, Kate Winslet may co-star with Jim in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. And finally, Jim will play Count Olaf in the oddball kids' movie Lemony Snicket, which has been a publishing sensation rivalling the Harry Potter books.

Neve Campbell  Now that John Cusack and Neve Campbell have ended their four-year relationship, John can concentrate on some movie projects… and he's got a couple of doozies on the way. His next big project is the thriller Identity, in which 10 visitors are stranded at a hotel during a violent storm and find themselves being killed off one at a time.

As for Neve, she is finally working on her dream project, a film about a classical ballet company and all the drama that comes from being part of that scene. Neve, of course, was a member of the National Ballet of Canada before an injury ended her career.

This one sounds like a winner. Disney has decided to green light a new version of Shrek for the Broadway stage. If it's half the production that The Lion King is, it should do well. Shrek: The Musical comes to Broadway in 2005.
