n March, the promise of spring prompts us to break out brights and pastels. Pink had its moment last year, so it’s time for blue to take centre stage. From turquoise to robin’s egg, blue’s lighter incarnations are showing up all over ladies pictured here at the Golden Globes and Genie Awards. Often equated with beauty, tranquility and contentment, blue has a relaxing and sedative quality. Which is exactly what these belles of the ball project — they’re calm, cool and collectively enchanting.
