Rumor has it that Mariah Carey (Glitter) and Britney Spears (Crossroads) are ready to duke it out for the affections of Super Bowl quarterback Tom Brady. Mariah was apparently very friendly during a party in Boston and Britney invited the hunk backstage when her tour went through Beantown.

We hear that Harrison Ford has asked girlfriend Calista Flockhart to put on a few pounds because he thinks she looks sexier that way. And now that Ally McBeal is over, she's agreed to do so. Apparently she's already put on seven pounds thanks to Italian, Indian and Thai meals. Of course, seven pounds to Calista is the equivalent of 20 to you and me.

Meanwhile, Ford has confirmed that he will shoot a fourth Indiana Jones movie, but it won't be right away. Shooting may start in 2004, with a release date scheduled for 2006. By then Harrison Ford will be 64-years-old. Perhaps the movie should be called Indiana Jones and the Herniated Disc.

Illusionist David Blane has pulled off stunts in the past, but none more impressive than sweet talking Daryl Hannah into dumping her boyfriend Val Kilmer for him.

Russell Crowe is hopping mad at an Aussie newspaper, and we
don't blame him. The paper recently published details of his $9

million home, including the address. He says it's a security risk.

Hollywood is filled with pranksters… and none of them more mischievous than George Clooney. Rumor has it that when he's at a party (and trust us, he's at plenty), Clooney will go around stealing cameras while people aren't looking, take a picture of his own derriere, then return the camera. Then, a few days later, when people are showing their friends pictures…

John Travolta recently found himself in the limo ride from hell. His chauffeur, who apparently spoke very little English, was driving erratically and even offered him a glass of vodka from an opened bottle. When John pulled out his cell phone to call for help, the driver revealed himself to be… Robin Williams.

Diane Lane  Movie stunts can be a dangerous business, but usually not where the love scenes are involved. Actress Diane Lane has reportedly filed for worker's compensation after twisting her back shooting the sexy scenes for her movie Unfaithful.

Ewan McGregor seems to be comfortable with nudity. Not only does he have several naked scenes in the upcoming thriller called Young Adam, apparently when he's done shooting the scenes, he doesn't hurry to his trailer. Instead, he prances around the set and chats with cast and crew like there's nothing unusual about it. Now, there's something you won't see in Star Wars: Episode 2.

With super-heroes being the order of the day, Quentin Tarantino is jumping on the bandwagon by producing a spoof of the super-hero genre. It's called Mort: The Dead Teenager and is based on a comic book about a teen who is beheaded in a train accident. Think I'll skip that one.

Over the years, several female stars, including Cher, have complained how tough it is to get a date, because men are intimidated by them. Destiny's Child singer Beyonce Knowles says she's having trouble landing a guy. On the set of Austin Powers in Goldmember, Beyonce says that Mike Myers' wife Robin was trying to play cupid by setting her up with dates.

Meanwhile, Beyonce's acting career continues to thrive. She's just signed to star opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. in the music industry comedy, The Fighting Temptations. After that, she'll record a solo album and another Destiny's Child album will be released next year.

Jennifer Lopez  Jennifer Lopez and her dancer-husband, Cris Judd, have reportedly separated. The pair are said to have parted amicably and have no immediate plans for divorce. The 31-year-old actress-singer married Judd, 32, just last September. The nuptials came mere months after she broke off a highly publicized romance with hip-hop's Sean "P. Diddy" Combs. The latest split was first reported in the New York Post. A source for J.Lo denied there was any third party involved in the breakup. Judd appeared prominently as a background dancer in the video for Lopez's hit "Love Don't Cost a Thing," and in recent months has become more active in her career.

Tired of bad news on the evening newscasts? So is Will Smith. Will is about to start up a monthly magazine called Good News, which will report only happy stories about "unique struggles and triumphs of inspirational individuals". Sounds like a good idea.
