This award-winning film follows the lives of three characters: Octavio (Bernal), an aimless loser in love with his sister-in-law (Bauche); Daniel (Guerrero), a successful editor who leaves his family to live with a supermodel (Toledo); and El Chivo (Echevarría), an ex-con who haunts a young girl and is commissioned to kill a wealthy businessman. Their lives, along with those of 3 dogs, suddenly intertwine after a tragic car accident in Mexico.
