Two women, Petula and Dorothy (Weisz and Lynch) have violent boyfriends. They meet when Dorothy tries to rescue Petula from a particularly bad beating. But the rescue turns into a murder when Petula's boyfriend is accidentally killed. Instead of facing criminal charges, the two decide to cover up their act. Unfortunately, a nosey inspector (Norton) and Brian's cruel brother (Roeves) threatens their escape from the tragedy.
