Disney's A Christmas Carol Movie Synopsis

DISNEY'S A CHRISTMAS CAROL, a multi-sensory thrill ride re-envisioned by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis, captures the fantastical essence of the classic Dickens tale in a groundbreaking motion picture event.

Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk (Gary Oldman) and his cheery nephew (Colin Firth). But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late.

This movie was awesome. It visually re-imagined a classic story, yet maintained the integrity of Dickens' original storyline. The graphics are quite amazing, and yes--a little scary! Although small children might be a bit scared, it's a great holiday film! Don't listen to the critics on this one.

Wow, very good. Jim Carry did a good job.

Don't listen to the critics on this one. It is a brilliant piece of filmaking based on an inspired and timeless story topped off by a mature and restrained performance by Cary. It is a classic that will ring in many a future Christmas.
