The story of four African-American soldiers who are members of the U.S. Army as part of the all-black 92nd Division Buffalo Soldiers stationed in Tuscany, Italy during World War II.
They experience the tragedy and triumph of the war as they find themselves trapped behind enemy lines
and separated from their unit after one of them risks his life to save an Italian boy.
Interesting, intelligent, and rewarding....a must see.
The movie is intense and keeps your attention. I like a movie that makes you have to pay attention. I don't want it spoon fed to me. This movie was well done.
I thought it was a great movie... for the hollywood crown, no it doesn't appeal, however for people who actually like a story, it was fantastic. You have to pay attention (for the person who didn't know who the guy shot in the begining... you wern't paying attention!! It was the guy who betrayed the small group of rebels)
