Based on Robert Bloch's novelization of an actual murder, this remake of the Hitchcock classic is an audacious undertaking as one has to consider how to "improve" upon a film that's an icon in its genre. As producer Brian Grazer says about the film's director, "There are only a few filmmakers in the world who can get away with it, and Gus is one of them."
The story, in case you don't know, has a fleeing thief stop off at the Bates Motel where she meets a creepy guy who's a little too fond of his mother and unwisely decides to take a shower.
Vince Vaughn does a great job...he really makes you believe in his character.
I don`t know why people like this lame remake of the original psycho. Come on first off the movie did have potential to be some what a pretty good slasher flick but it went down hill when they introduce vince vaughn and his cheesy lame acting. Anyways the original was way better when it comes to suspense and a good creepy astmophere. In my opinion this is by far one of the worst horror movie i every seen 2 out of 10.
wow anythnig with vince vaughn in is great go vince xxx i love im
