When Ethan (Schwartzman), the school geek, finds out that three college students are scamming the school system to give themselves perfect grades, he uses the information to blackmail them. He forces Dave (Sawa), one of the scammers, into helping him win the heart of Angela (King), the most popular girl on campus... except Dave finds himself falling for Angela too.

Ethan discovers Angela's interest in Dave and threatens to cancel the deal and expose the trio. Meanwhile, Dave has to choose between scamming his way through college, and being with his dream girl.
