The Emperor's Club Movie Synopsis
William Hundert (Kline) is a passionate and principled Classics professor who finds his tightly-controlled world shaken and inexorably altered when
a new student, Sedgewick Bell (Hirsch), walks into his classroom. What begins as a fierce battle of wills gives way to a close student-teacher relationship, but results in a life lesson for Hundert that will still haunt him a quarter of a century later.
Based on the short story The Palace Thief by Ethan Canin.
The emporor`s club shed`s light on the importance of mentoring and the value of ethics.
great film. great message. good lessons for teachers. it shows that teachers should be rather educators. I appreciate so much that I`ll suggest it to my colleagues (teachers) and have feedback later on.
it`s a great movie!!!!!!!!!!!!
