  • 5 stars "Natalie Portman is outstanding as the writer, director and actor in this touching, historical movie. Being reminded of the events of the time, I was profoundly moved by her portrayal of a woman coping with new life conditions, a child and husband, while trying to protect them all from the horror. Her skills are clear and makes me look forward to her next choice."
  • 5 stars "Unbelievable. The storytelling is glorious. Through tough times, it shows us how to grow and learn and cherish the things we have. The performances were powerful. Natalie tells a story that goes deeper than most movies. I'm still with my mouth agape, an hour after walking out of the theatre."
