was absolutely fabulous wouldn't miss it for anything.full of life and fun and laughter.many people very happy.thankyou andre rieu.x
oops, guess my review exceeded max. characters. cont'd: ...blue danube, radetzky march, also plays latin music or hits like my heart will go on. orchestra members are in gorgeous tux or colorful gowns. i was in maastricht one time for his concerts, and as he's so popular in many countries, he might not find time to come back to n. america often, so being able to watch his most spectacular outdoor concerts without having to worry about the weather is something i can't afford to miss. i saw photos/video from this year's concerts, the laser light effects are just amazing. can't wait to watch it on big screen :)
i'm a huge fan of andre rieu and as a canadian, i feel like sharing some facts of this musician which hopefully will encourage the readers to go see his concerts. he's called the most popular unknown artist in the world. he's well-known in europe for years, his popularity in australia spreaded like forest fire a few years ago, thousands of his audiences in south africa laughed and cried in his concerts, those in mexico were singing outside the venue after the concert was over. he's recently doing over 20 sold-out concerts in brazil, but in canada, most people still go "andre who??" i am no classical music lover, hate it actually, but andre plays a mix of lively classical music like blue danu
