At the suggestion of a straight friend, gay man Leo (Kevin McKidd) joins a men's group, where he causes some upsets by declaring his attraction to one of its members (
James Purefoy). This leads to a homosexual affair, but when Leo's old high school sweetheart (
Jennifer Ehle) re-enters his life, the whole thing transcends into sexual ambiguity.
