A once successful Hollywood movie composer (David Arquette) hits rock bottom and ends up working as a chauffeur to help make ends meet. In an attempt to get his life and career back on track, he begins attending Alcoholic Anonymous, where he eventually meets a beautiful but mysterious woman (Bijou Phillips). He falls in love with her and leans on her for support but even with her help, will he ever be able to reclaim the life he once took for granted?
