Bubba Ho-Tep Movie Synopsis

Elvis Presley (Bruce Campbell) is an elderly resident in an East Texas retirement home, having switched identities with an Elvis impersonator years before his "death," then missed his chance to switch back. Elvis teams up with Jack (Ossie Davis), a fellow nursing home resident who thinks that he is actually President John F. Kennedy, and the two valiant old codgers sally forth to battle an evil Egyptian entity who has chosen their long-term care facility as his happy hunting grounds.

Based on the Bram Stoker Award nominee short story by author Joe R. Lansdale.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE. I CAN`T BELIEVE THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT GAVE IT A LOW RATING. GOES TO SHOW THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY HAVE GOOD TASTE, WHICH IS FEW. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FLICK. 5 STARS FOR SURE.

Great humor with Campbell nailing the Elvis impersonation. Very intelligent writing and filming although the ending is a bit of a letdown.

This is a very dumb movie.
