City of God Movie Synopsis
Two boys growing up in a poor Brazilian housing project, Cidade de Deus, take different paths: one becomes a photographer, the other a drug dealer. Rock, a poor black kid too frail and scared to become an outlaw but also too smart to be content with an underpaid job, discovers he can see reality with a different eye: the eye of an artist. Eventually he becomes a professional photographer, which is his redemption. Then there is Lil Dice, a kid the same age who already dreams of being Rio de Janeiro's most dangerous criminal. Before long, he will be. Through Rocket's perspective of live, we understand the humanity of a world apparently condemned to endless violence.

this is the best movie I seen so far. I fell in love with it the first time I watched it. so good I just loved it so much. I can`t wait to buy it on DVD. I LOVED IT.
this movie is curazy. seriously. this has got to be one of the best movies made about growing up in the ghetto, u have to watch it, it shows perfectly what the ghetto is like and the life in it. this movie is only for the type of people who like this kinda stuff and the tough life, so that way, we dont get anymore dumb reviews like " ...only sex and violence. A movie for stupid minds! "
