At a New York wedding reception two guests (
Helena Bonham Carter,
Aaron Eckhart), seemingly strangers, become entangled in a sexually-charged battle of wits. But as the night carries on in a cigarette smoke haze, the nameless couple's repartee deepens to reveal the passion of their two decades past love affair.
Escaping the party for a hotel room, the two are soon gripped by their mutual past and the individual choices that lead them to the present.
was different than other movies but not too great
The split screen throughout the movie may have symbolized the separateness of their private lives but I found it distractingly annoying. Dispense with the symbolism! I want to enjoy the movie.
Very different and intersting concept. It`s refreshing to see a more independent approach to movie-making.
