Cookie's Fortune Movie Synopsis

Robert Altman's latest is a Southern gothic tale about the cover-up of a matriarch's suicide. The body is discovered by the matriarch's niece (Close) who's your typically repressed, deep South spinster so afraid of even a whiff of scandal that she makes the suicide look like a murder. A little mayhem and humor ensue. The tagline to the film is: "Welcome to Holly Springs... home of murder, mayhem and catfish enchiladas."
