When a Canadian diplomat (Lisa Ray), her husband Michael (Don McKellar) and baby are posted to New Delhi, they inherit a household of Indian servants, headed by the charming but wily cook Stella (Seema Biswas). When Stella becomes Michael's "cooking guru," teaching him how to make
Indian dishes like dosas and kheer, little does he know she is cooking up a scheme of her own. Then Stella's
world implodes when a new nanny (Shriya Saran) arrives.
its a light comedy movie.Loved to see Lisa ray
i think it was fun and definitely something else.
Save your money and time. This movie was a dud, and it just reinforces harmful stereotypes (ie. Canadians are clued out, Indians are not to be trusted). The cooking part of the storyline seemed like an afterthought. The acting was stilted and overdone.
