Deeply Movie Synopsis
Traumatized by the death of her first love, Claire McKay (Brendler), journeys to the island of
her ancestors. During her stay she meets an eccentric writer, Celia (Redgrave), who tells her
the story of another teenager (Dunst) who encountered a great loss and how the island is cursed.
The story and island propel Claire on a journey into her own soul.
An incredible love story that left me in tears, ((and I dont cry during movies)) It's deffinitly on my list of movies to buy
It should have been a better movie, and maybe viewed in one session is a better movie. However, as viewed on television with commercial breaks, the storyline and the way the storyline is depicted.... it just doesn`t work. This movie, above all others, makes me realise directors must take television broadcast and commercial breaks into consideration when filming. As I said, this should have been a better movie, but it isn`t. Were it even a titch better, I`d be motivated to rent the DVD.
