Driven Movie Synopsis
Due to the pressures of racing, his ambitious promotor, who is also his brother, and his secret relationship with the girlfriend (Warren) of his nemesis and top racer, rookie driver Jimmy Blye (Pardue) needs help to get through the second half of the racing season. So racing owner (Reynolds) calls in veteran car racer Joe Tanto (Stallone) to help Jimmy move up the ranks.
Years ago Tanto suffered a near-fatal crash on the track which put his once-promising career on hold. This is exactly the opportunity he needs to turn his life around, even if it means guiding someone else to the podium.
I thought it was a really good movie. Can`t find it to buy!
The three-line synopsis was probably thrilling but not enough for an entire movie. One of the most boring evenings I`ve ever had. Nevertheless, thank you, Burt Reynolds and Robert Sean Leonard for some instances of quality acting.
Lets Face it if any film has Sylvester Stallone in its gonna be a great film.
