Fade To Black Movie Synopsis
Fade to Black chronicles the once-in-a-lifetime concert event of Jay-Z's performance at Madison Square Garden in November 2003. For the first time ever, a hip-hop artist sold out an arena in only two hours. Nearly one year later, fans and artists alike still reflect on this monumental musical night. The event was a spectacular culmination of Jay-Z's recording career prior to his self-proclaimed retirement from solo performing. Yet this one night also defined a musical generation, showcasing the evolution and reach of the world's most popular musical genre.
I've waited a very long time for this cult horror hit to finally hit dvd. For my money, Dennis Christopher's work here rivals his performance in BREAKING AWAY. Give this movie a chance.
It was wonderful, I loved it. They'll never be another documentary like this one. For me anyways. I can't believe they got this in one movie.
Dennis Christopher's follow-up to the Oscar-winning Breaking Away is a disappointment. I thought it would be scary but it's just boring.
