First Position

Seven ballet dancers—one boy and six girls—between the ages of 10 to 17, prepare for and participate in the world's largest ballet competition for students—the Youth America Grand Prix. Each year, the competition attracts approximately 5,000 dancers from over 15 cities internationally, but only 300 make it to the New York finals.
