Guinevere Movie Synopsis

In a family full of over-achievers Harper Sloane is the youngest and the odd one out. Then she meets Connie Fitzpatrick the photographer at her sister's wedding, who¹s about to to become the man who could take her away from it all.

Charming and shaggily attractive, Connie has an itense sexual energy that draws her into this world. As a romance begins to unfold, his artistic passions become rights of passage for Harper, whose inexperience and awkward nature make her the perfect student. As Harper comes out of her shell, he shows her a world of possibilities she's never imagined.

This was an excellent depiction of innocence and naiveté being seduced and taken advantage of. A classic tale of a victim taking a negative and turn it into a positive and learning that the ability to do so comes with experience and maturity. Bravo a great coming of age flick! The acting and direction was superb. Would have liked to have seen more of Jasmine Guy and Sandra Oh, two very talented and striking women, their talents were squandered here. Nonetheless, the film is worth having in one’s collection.

I love Sarah Polley but I thought the movie was bad.
