I Am David Movie Synopsis

David, a 12-year-old boy, escapes a Communist concentration camp with little more than a compass, a sealed letter, a loaf of bread, and instructions to carry the letter to Copenhagen, Denmark. David is thrust into the free world for the first time in his young life as he travels across Europe. It is a spiritual voyage of discovery, where David slowly loses his instinctual mistrust of humanity and begins to smile, share, trust and ultimately, love.

Based on the novel North to Freedom by Anne Holm.

Indeed an excellent movie for me.One of the best movie I've seen.Highly recommended!

I thought it was really great! The acting, music, plot, and resolution was perfect. Ben Tibber did a great job acting as David. I could tell it was hard work for him doing mostly facial expressions, but he did super.

the book is nice..at first i really dont like to read this book, coz at first its kinda boring..but once you`ve continue to read this..you`ll find it interesting and nice..hehe!! my english teacher forced us to read this for our thesis..but thanks to her..if she didn`t forced us,i would not be able to read this..hehe!! its about a journey to freedom and to know his(david)full identity.. i also was able to watch the movie..coz it really strikes me..GOOD!!
