Exceptional "moment" in the lives of the real human animal. Great acting! In the genre of "The Whale Rider" and "Nowhere in Africa"-my personal preference-special people in an exceptional setting. Thankyou!!

I DREAMED OF AFRICA IS SOMEHOW A GREAT MOVIE BUT IT DIDN`T TACKLE aFRICA Completely!!The movie didnt emphasize tHE pOLITICAL, economics and more info of african socio- cultural aspect. But as a whole, this film won both Oscar Award and my admiration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent! Invigorating and refreshing. I have read I Dreamed of Africa, Night of the Lions and African Nights. All are amazing pieces of work that detail a life not many could imagine. The movie showcased the struggles and the pain concurrently with elation. *****
