Aspiring writer Carter Webb (
Adam Brody) has just been dumped by his true love, Sophia (Elena Anaya). Heartbroken and depressed, Carter escapes Los Angeles to suburban Michigan to care for his ailing grandmother (
Olympia Dukakis) and to work on a book he has always wanted to write.
Soon after his arrival, Carter stumbles into the lives of the family living directly across the street: Sarah Hardwicke (
Meg Ryan), and her two daughters, Paige (Makenzie Vega) and Lucy (
Kristen Stewart). His relationships with these women help Carter discover that what felt like an end was only just the beginning of something else....

this movie was very well done, damnnn just like steak!!! (H) hot hot hot but the ending sucks so turn it of 3/4 of the way through ;) ..unpredictable fo sho ( go see it )
If there was a land of women, why would they pick a guy who looks like one of them.
I loved this movie, it was very captivating all through, however
while I was satisfied with the ending, I felt it could have been a little stonger. I give it 4 stars
