Iris Movie Synopsis
Iris Murdoch (Winslet, Dench) was one of the most extraordinary women of her generation. A brilliant scholar at Oxford in the 1950s,
she later became a noted philosopher and novelist. Through it all, her soulmate and husband, John Bayley (Broadbent, Bonneville) stood beside her every step of the way.
Based on the memoir Elegy for Iris by John Bayley.
Just finished watching it for at least the fourth time. Such a realistic story and such a great love story.
It was an absolutely awesome story about REAL LOVE. It blew me away.
Good movie although the English dialogue spoken by the actors sometimes a little hard to understand.
