Jesus' Son Movie Synopsis
This is the story of a young man's circuitous journey from drug dependency and petty crime
to a life redeemed by this startling discovery of compassion. The story is set in the drug
subculture of the 1970's, and it's protagonist -- a young man in his twenties (Crudup) --
spends his days high on drugs, stealing, or scamming a quick buck. On the other hand, he
is also driven by an overwhelming desire to help those around him, but he repeatedly fails.
Almost by a miracle, redemption does come to him. Now, whoever he meets, his attempts to prove
his worth are either oddly touching, futile or often both.
I related to the movie completely. The story, the charactors, the music, humour and issues of the seventies. Good one!
Incredible... isn`t that the state of all humanity? Hopeful, but somehow always falling short?
