Lola Movie Synopsis
Thirty-something Lola (Grdevich) has all the material comforts: a new car, an upscale loft, an unlimited credit card. But she's living in a
marriage with a husband (Feore) who emotionally abuses her. Nothing she does seems right.
However, Lola's life changes when she meets a free-spirited woman named Sandra, who comes to a tragic end. Lola assumes the woman's
identity and sets off from Vancouver to seek out Sandra's estranged mother in a small BC town.
I found the movie to be very Canadian. I usually change the channel when one appears but "Lola", as a charactor, was able to hold my interest.
